My research largely is motivated by two questions.  First, how do political leaders' and their key constituents' preferences influence interstate conflict processes?  Second, what are the consequences of war and historical legacies for states in the contemporary international system?  My publications and a set of working papers motivated by these questions are below.  The following link to my CV and Google Scholar profile.
